We're the two roommates you'd be sharing the apartment with, and we put this page together ourselves so nothing is a mystery. The master bedroom and its private bathroom are what's open — everything else (kitchen, living room, common areas) is already furnished and set up.
We listed this for flight crew on purpose. The house runs on quiet respect around the clock, since someone here is usually asleep at an odd hour, and the location is ridiculously convenient for both airports without paying crashpad-by-the-terminal prices.
Bills are boring by design: rent is $1,300, and we split the actual utility bills — electric, heat, hot water, WiFi — three ways, with the real statements shared each month.
House rules, short and transparent:
- Smoking: strictly no smoking indoors.
- Overnight guests: always welcome with a heads-up, up to 5 days max — anything longer needs a formal written agreement.
- Property safety: there's a security system on the property and a motion camera in the common area (never in bedrooms or baths). Transparency matters to us — full system access is shared with everyone in the house, including you.
- Household management: notices, shared updates, and monthly utility statements (as PDFs) all live in our custom-built roommate app (iOS), so nothing important gets lost in a group text. Our house policies are designed with NYC housing and landlord-tenant rules in mind.
- Community: we're not just ships passing in the night — we plan one optional roommate outing per quarter, always announced at least a month ahead so you can decide if you'd like to join.
